Using high speed photography Dr. Emoto shows that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward them. He found that water from clear springs and water that has been exposed to loving words shows brilliant, complex and colourful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water, or water exposed to negative thoughts, forms incomplete, asymetrical patterns with dull colours.Humans are, of course, formed mainly of water.

Fractals are the visual depictions of mathematical equations, the same equations, in fact, that describe natural phenomena such as coastlines, plant shapes and weather patterns. A computer program assigns a colour to each point in the image based on the answers to a chosen equation, which then results in the abstract fractal shapes Dozens of variables are manipulated in order to create these fascinating images. Equations representing the images accompany each picture. Alice Kelly says of her organic designs, "fractals are an intuitive glimpse into the infinite order that comprises the natural world, as well as being proof that Math is beautiful." CALCRO09. Crop Circles by Freddy Silva. They appear seemingly out of nowhere: one moment a pristine field, the next a complex and mysterious design imprinted in the nearly ripened wheat. The stalks are bent, laid in swirls and patterns of mathematical preciscision and yet virtually undamaged. Some designs demonstrate principles of geometry while others portray ancient religious symbols. Skeptics tell us they're hoaxes, but no one can fully explain how these patterns are created with such speed and accuracy.
